Last month we had the opportunity to do some bike safety education at the Oakridge Neighborhood in Des Moines. Oakridge is a 21st Century Learning Community Center which does a ton of fun summer education programming for the kids in the neighborhood. Iowa Safe Routes to School was excited to work with the staff.
The kids had a ton of fun learning about walking and biking safety. Iowa Safe Routes to School looks forward to working more with the Oakridge staff and kids providing more education in the future.
