Crossing Guards

The Iowa Safe Routes to School program is hosting an online training for Iowa Adult School Crossing Guards.  The training reviews the tips and techniques for safe crossing practices.  To complete the training, crossing guards should watch the following slide presentations, answer the ten questions, and fill out the attenance information.  The training should take 45 minutes to one hour to complete.

MODULE ONE HAZARDS

MODULE TWO LAWS AND TRAFFIC CONTROLS

MODULE THREE SAFETY

MODULE FOUR CROSSING GUARD ROLES

This presentation is approximately three minutes.

MODULE FIVE TECHNIQUES
INSTRUCTIONS: Push play to begin the presentation.  
This module is approximately ten minutes.

WRITTEN EXAM
INSTRUCTIONS:  Complete the following questions based upon the material presented.  This should take approximately 5 minutes.  At the end of the exercise, please leave your name, city, and email address.
